Now for the Big One!

Well thank goodness that Halloween and Bonfire Night is over. The supermarkets and stores can now empty their shelves of all those rubber masks, vampire costumes, pumpkins and fireworks to start preparing for the Big One.........
.
.
Yes, you've guessed.....it will soon be Easter!! Ta ra. Don't you just love all those fluffy bunnies and cute cuddly yellow chicks. Then there's the Easter eggs and hot cross buns. Oh the seasonal joy of the occasion. I'll need to get started buying my Easter presents and Easter cards to avoid the rush.
.
.
By the way...what have Frankenstein and Dracula got to do with Halloween. Our local Asda seems to think that they're part of the whole Halloween thing. Why, I've no idea. Did Mary Shelley and Bram Stoker write their books at Halloween? Did Frankenstein's monster enjoy pumpkins? Was Dracula a secret trick and treat fiend? I think we should be told.

Oh and what the hell are spooky peanuts? Asda was selling them too. I gave them the big E though. There's enough spook going on without having to cope with peanuts. After all it's quite a good cartoon strip!
